Penthouse Carpets is involved in the manufacturing of wool rich carpets.
Penthouse Carpets recognises its responsibilities for environmental protection. The company endeavours to minimise the harmful effects of its day to day operations on the environment.
Specifically the company will:
- Reduce the amount of waste generated and seek to re-use and recycle whenever economically practicable to minimise the need for disposal either to land fill sites or incineration.
- Reduce energy consumption in all areas of production.
- Ensure the activities of the company comply with all statutory requirements of environmental legislation.
Consumer Awareness
In order to ensure that your carpet arrives in pristine condition it is necessary to utilise packaging material - all of which is suitable for recycling.
- Carpet Bungs
Disposal of the carpet bungs should be via your recycling plastics and cans bin. - Carpet Tubes
Disposal of the carpet tube should be via your recycling paper/cardboard bin firstly cutting the tube down to manageable lengths. - Wrapper
Disposal of the wrapper should be via your plastic and cans bin.
